The San Francisco Road Runners Club is a member of the Road Runners Clubs of America, a national organization that promotes distance running. The SFRRC was founded in 2001 by a group of veteran runners and coaches who share a passion for running and wanted to offer San Francisco a running club.
The goals of SFRRC are to support a healthy lifestyle by making running a convenient part of people's life, and to promote a smart and injury-free running experience.
The club has almost 500 members, including 10 trained coaches.
